Turn Your Favorite Pet Photograph into Layered Relief Artwork
Every photograph tells a story.
Whether it's your dog stretched across the sofa, a horse waiting quietly at the gate, or the unmistakable look that has always made you smile, these moments deserve more than a place in a photo album.
Your favorite photograph is thoughtfully transformed into handcrafted layered relief artwork that celebrates the personality, character, and quiet connection you share. Rather than simply reproducing an image, each piece is individually interpreted to create a dimensional work of art that reveals new depth as light moves across its surface.
Created to become a lasting keepsake, each relief is made to order in our Pennsylvania studio and designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
Crafted Layer by Layer
Beginning with your photograph, every detail is carefully translated into layered relief, allowing light to reveal graceful contours, subtle textures, and quiet character from every angle.
Each artwork is created using a specialized filament painting technique combined with precision PETG 3D printing. Rather than applying ink to a flat surface, carefully selected filament colors are built layer by layer to create genuine depth and dimension.
Before each piece is individually inspected and hand-finished, ensuring it reflects the craftsmanship and quality that define every Grounded Hound relief.
Every Piece Is One of a Kind
Because every relief is created one layer at a time, subtle variations in texture and surface finish are a natural part of the artistic process.
Like the companions who inspire them, every portrait is uniquely its own.
Created to celebrate the quiet connection we share with the animals who enrich our lives, capturing their beauty, personality, and the moments that make every companion unforgettable.
Created in the spirit of The Grounded Hound Collection, celebrating the joy, peace, and love found in ordinary moments.

I was lucky enough to be a guinea pig and get some of the first ones made. I have them prominently displayed in my home and have since I received them. They are treasured, that’s for sure!
These make wonderful gifts for those of us who still have our fur children and would also make a great memorial gift.
I love the pink included on my second one, because I love my sweet little Luna’s tongue.
A beautiful way to celebrate a favorite memory of my labrador as a puppy. The Grounded Hound took my photo and created a unique 3-D relief artwork that truly captures the cheekiness of my girl. Great gift idea!
